Warranty claims, traced to the certification that backs them
How to check it
Extended workmanship-and-system warranties on a quote are usually manufacturer programs, and manufacturers state publicly which contractor tiers may offer them: GAF's directory page says its Master Elite contractors are entrusted to offer its strongest warranties, and Owens Corning's locator says only Platinum Preferred members can offer its best roofing system warranty. That makes a warranty line checkable by composition — the named warranty, per the manufacturer's public materials, requires the named tier, and step 2 already verified whether the company holds that tier. A quote offering a top-tier warranty from a company absent from that manufacturer's directory contains a claim that cannot both be true.

What a pass proves
That the warranty offered is one the contractor is eligible to register, as the manufacturer describes its own program.
What it does NOT prove
Eligibility is not registration: it does not prove this roof's warranty will actually be registered, and every manufacturer warranty pays per its own written terms — the warranty document controls what it covers, in the same way the policy document controls a policy.
