The insurance fine print, stated up front: Class 4 (UL 2218) may qualify for a carrier-set Texas premium discount (commonly ~10–30%, not statewide or guaranteed). Many carriers tie the discount to a cosmetic-damage exclusion (often an HO-145-type endorsement) that removes cosmetic/aesthetic hail coverage — a real money tradeoff to weigh.
